The wonders of winter

Posted by Xiong, Song - December 7, 2011 - Song X., Students

These past few days have really started feeling like winter: snow, low temperatures, Christmas music, and congestion and coughing for the past week and a half. Yes, it’s all here: the good and the bad.

It is especially essential during this time of year to take some time aside for yourself and to get enough sleep. With finals just around the corner, stress levels are skyrocketing and sickness is more than eager to call our worn bodies home.

A campus resource that has never failed me is the Student Health Service. I’ve always had prompt and friendly service. I meet with real doctors and nurses, lab work is at minimal costs, and medication has never been a problem. Also, a good chunk of our tuition is paying for these services, so we might as well make good use of it.

And, remember that humor cures everything! Good luck with finals!
