The College of Professional Studies launched a new initiative that supports its continuing effort to promote excellence in teaching in the college. Café Chats are short coffee breaks that focus on a single teaching and learning topic through the Focus on Teaching program.
Faculty gathered for the first topic of “Delightful D2L” led by Director of Physical Education Kristi Roth on Wednesday, April 4. She shared how the UW-Stevens Point Faculty Learning Community is using Turnitin.com to provide feedback on student work and D2L for rubrics. CPS faculty engaged in discussion and shared tips on how they use these tools in their classes.
