A new college-wide task force focused on improving inclusiveness and diversity within the College of Professional Studies at UW-Stevens Point has been created. The task force will advise the college on matters of inclusiveness and diversity, encourage inclusiveness and diversity within member CPS departments, and make one tangible improvement to CPS’s inclusive culture or appreciation of diversity each year.

Members of the task force are: Nisha Fernando (IA), Celine Kline (HPHD), Nanc Slizewski (SHCP), Maysee Herr (SOE), Beth Kinslow (PEAT), Jill Millis (Athletics), Elle Wu (SBE), Maggie Watson (ComD) and Michael Butcher (Mil. Sci.).

The purpose of the task force will be meeting three objectives:

  1. Advise the dean on matters related to inclusiveness and diversity within the college
  2. Encourage inclusiveness and diversity within your CPS departments
  3. Accomplish one thing each year aimed at improving CPS’s inclusive culture or our appreciation for diversity.
