Philanthropists John and Tashia Morgridge visited UW-Stevens Point on March 10 for the Fund for Wisconsin Scholars Banquet. Just before, they took time to visited the College of Professional Studies to learn about what has been accomplished with a grant received through the Wisconsin Technology Initiative (WTI). WTI was established by the Mortgridges in 2010 to help make 21st century instructional technology more accessible to forward-thinking school districts.. The interactive technologies they funded in the Center for Collaborative and Interactive Technologies (CCIT) have empowered faculty and staff to become more innovative in their approach to teaching as well as provided better means of collaborating with regional K-12 schools.
