With my fellow athletic training students … I’m in the back in white.

sarah20151018bGrowing up can be hard to do, especially when you’re in college.

That would be me. My name is Sarah Pettit and I am a senior at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point who is starting to figure out what exactly growing up means. College is a time where I’ve learned who I am and what I want out of my life, and I thankfully have come to decisions about some. Blogging is one of those recent decisions.

I come from a pretty big town called Racine in southeastern Wisconsin and I am in the athletic training major where I have had some amazing experiences.

I had the luxury (for lack of a better term) of knowing what I wanted to do with the rest of my life since I was a junior in high school. My history of injuries due to volleyball, basketball and just being a klutz sparked my interest in the medical field.

This program has definitely shown me what it takes to be an athletic trainer, but since this is my first post I will save that for later. Just know that even though I knew exactly what I wanted to do since I was 16, doesn’t mean you have to.

Wow, that was a lot of information about me. Anyway, I can’t wait to share more stories about life here at UW-Stevens Point, so stay tuned!
