As a founding member and president of Portage County Can, Annie Wetter, Ph.D., guides the organization to improve the well-being of the community through development of partnerships that promote healthy eating and active living. Her passion and energy pulls the community together with UW-Stevens Point students who share their talents. For her efforts, the professor of nutrition earned the 2018 College of Professional Studies Ethel and Ward Cable Family Faculty Heroes Award.
