Because of Beth\u2019s training and passion for improved mental health, UWSP students, athletes, coaches, faculty and staff have learned to recognize and respond to signs and symptoms that may indicate a mental health or substance use challenge in a colleague or friend. Her work continues to promote inclusion, equity and diversity in the athletic training program and throughout the whole campus community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For her efforts, Beth was presented the 2023 College of Professional Studies Ethel and Ward Family Faculty <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uwsp.edu\/cps\/college-of-professional-studies\/giving\/heroes-awards\/\">Heroes Award<\/a>.
