One of the first things I noticed when I got here was that people will actually hold the door open for others!<\/p>\n<p>When you walk into a building and there are people behind you, most people here will stop for a second to hold the door. It doesn&#8217;t matter if you are on crutches, or able bodied, people will still hold it open!<\/p>\n<p>While I&#8217;ve been on either one or two crutches, people have always raced ahead of me to grab the door and hold it open for me. Now, with how many times I have been on crutches, I am used to getting the door when I am alone. I actually have a method in how I do it, but since I&#8217;ve been on crutches here, I&#8217;ve barely used it.<\/p>\n<p>I know that to a lot of people this isn&#8217;t a big deal, but to me that shows kindness to others.
