Until then, the only award given to graduates for their university career achievements was the Albertson Award. Since relatively few met the qualifications for an Albertson Award, Chancellor Dreyfus was concerned that the last thing many of our graduates heard from the university after years of contributions was that they had lost. He felt all who had provided significant service to the university community should receive some honor, and from that annual pool, the Albertson Award should be selected.

Congratulations to all award winners!
College of Professional Studies Majors:

Johan Aulwes – Natural Science – Life Science – Teaching
Payton Bayer – English – Teaching
Samantha Checki – Health Science – Pre-Physical Therapy
Danielle Dawson – Elementary Education, Special Education
Alexa Englund – Business Administration – Marketing; Business Administration – Management; Military Science Minor
Brooklyn Hackbarth – Communication Sciences and Disorders
Katelynne Heine – Elementary Education; Special Education
Abbey Johnson – Business Administration; Interior Architecture
Rebecca Lamermayer – Accounting; Business Administration – Finance, Insurance, Real Estate
Stephanie Lesperance – Math – Teaching
Delaney McCreary – Elementary Education
Katelyn McEachen – Health Science – Health Care Administration
Brenna Ohrmundt – Music Education; Music Performance – Wind
Kely Rodriguez-Enamorado – Accounting; Business Administration – Management
Cassidy Ryan – Communication Sciences and Disorders – Teaching
Katherine Sanderfoot – Elementary Education; Special Education
Nicolette Smith – Physical Education
Brittany Zander – Health Promotion and Wellness
Kerry Zynda – Communication Sciences and Disorders – Teaching

Each semester, University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point’s best and brightest student leaders are presented with the Chancellor’s Leadership Award.
