It got off in the middle somewhere and never recovered. I came in the next morning to find a nice bottom half and a big tangle of messy strands of plastic all over the top and sides. According to a web entry, this model printed without supports on some printer, but since the problem occurred shortly after the overhanging parts started printing, I wonder if I will need supports to do this one.\u00a0<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.uwsp.edu\/math\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2016\/10\/Mess-2-e1476840832210-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"mess-2\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The cleaning up was easy, and the printer seems fine. I took this occasion to scrape the glue off the build plate. I had been adding a little more for some of the prints, but mostly it was staying in place with no problems. I added a little glue, not even a full layer, for my next print.
