I checked on it after about 90 minutes to find it making another mess. Wish I had checked it sooner. I don&#8217;t know if the base moved or what caused the problem. When I tried it again some weeks later, I\u00a0 scaled the design to make it a bigger version of the ball and added in lots of supports. This time it worked!<\/p>\n<p>When I saw the failed stereographic projection ball, I felt a little like embracing failures like this one. When something goes wrong on a 3D printer, the chaotic mess you sometimes get makes such a statement!
