Once we received the printer, we found a place for it and dove in to the set-up. I got the Ultimaker app on my tablet, which walked us through all the steps. I was concerned about my ability to estimate a 1mm gap between the build plate and the nozzle at first, but it worked out fine. In fact, the whole set-up process was very smooth.
The printer came with some designs on an SD card, so we got to try making something right away. I thought it was fitting to print the Ultimaker robot. 🙂
It turned out great! There were no problems whatsoever. The surface was nice and smooth – a good quality print. I also like the noise the Ultimaker 2+ makes. It is not loud at all, and it reminds me of the beeping and whirring sounds that computers make in old Sci Fi movies.
Great info. Lucky me I ran across your blog by accident (stumbleupon).
I’ve book-marked it for later!
I am extremely impressed with your writing skills as well as with the layout on your blog. Is this a paid theme or did you customize it yourself? Either way keep up the excellent quality writing, it’s rare to see a nice blog like this one nowadays..
Exceptional post however I was wondering if you could write a litte more on this topic?
I’d be very grateful if you could elaborate a little bit
more. Many thanks!
