Fall Activities in Stevens Point

No Comments on Fall Activities in Stevens Point

Hey Pointers! UWSP’s fall break is the perfect time to rest, relax, catch up on some classes, or explore some fun, fall activities in the area. In this blog, we will talk about some festivities happening around campus.

First of all, the best place to stay up to date for all things happening on-campus is SPIN (Stevens Point Involvement Network). Clubs and organizations post their meetings and activities on this website. Here, you can also sign up to receive notifications from organizations that you are a member of.

Before we suffer through a blistering winter, get out and enjoy some nature! Local places like Schmeeckle Reserve, Pfiffner Pioneer Park, and Rib Mountain offer stunning views as the leaves change to beautiful fall colors. Rib Mountain even offers a chairlift ride up to the top of the mountain!

The Stevens Point Farmers Market is on Saturdays from 7 a.m. -12 p.m. and runs until October. The Stevens Point Farmers Market is full of fresh local produce, meats, baked goods, bagels, eggs, and freshly brewed coffee. Stop by to pick up seasonal favorites, support local vendors, and enjoy a lively market atmosphere.

Check out some local farms and orchards in the area as well! Feltz’s dairy store offers corn maze, pumpkin picking, and fresh, daily treats. Caseys Orchard has fresh apples, caramel apples, and homemade apple butter.

There truly is so much more happening in the area that cannot all fit into this blog. Google and social media are your best friends when it comes to seeing local events happening!
