Looking for a way to get involved while helping others? Volunteering at UW-Stevens Point is a great way for students to give back to campus and the surrounding community. Whether you are interested in volunteering for a few hours or want to take part in a larger service project, there are many opportunities for students to make a difference. Students can find volunteering events on the SPIN app through Campus Activities and Student Engagement (CASE).
Volunteer Events:
- Campus Litter Cleanup: Help keep UWSP beautiful by picking up litter around campus and maintaining a clean environment for students and wildlife.
- Service Trips: Take part of a service trip during breaks and spend time helping communities in need.
- Community Partners: Connect with organizations in the Stevens Point area through the United Way of Portage County Volunteer Center. Opportunities can include helping local humane societies, youth programs, or senior care centers.
- Campus Food Pantries: Help organize donations and resources at student food pantries such as The Cupboard and local food programs.
