Graduating in December? This year, we are asking students to preorder their cap and gown. Here is some information on the new process.
Cap and Gown
- Graduates who wish to participate in commencement are required to wear a black cap and gown. Please pre-order your cap and gown by Friday, October 16, through the Herff Jones website. Search for “University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point” to find the UWSP order page.
- All pre-orders will be shipped to the University Store for graduates to pick up starting the week of November 16. Tassels and honor cords will be available for purchase at the University Store. Graduates will be contacted when their order is ready for pickup. Payment will be made when you pick up your order from the University Store. Pricing can be found at uwsp.edu/commencement.
- If you are unable to come to the Stevens Point campus and need your cap and gown shipped directly to you, please visit uwsp.edu/commencement for more information.
For graduates who missed the pre-order deadline, the University Store will have cap and gown packages for sale starting November 16.
University Store hours: Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Need your Cap and Gown Shipped to You?
If you are unable to come to the Stevens Point campus s to pick up your cap and gown, you can order online through the University Store and have it shipped directly to you.
Select the appropriate link below for your degree level. During checkout, choose the “Ship It” option and enter your shipping address. All cap and gown orders will be shipped after November 16. For questions, please contact the University Store at textrent@uwsp.edu.
