There are many exciting events coming up on the UWSP Campus! Family Day takes place on Saturday, October 21, 2023. There are a series of activities for students and families to enjoy during their visit during Homecoming! Here is a list of events happening on Family Day for you and your family to enjoy.
Brunch at 10 A.M.
Enjoy brunch with your family at the DeBot Dining Center.
Residence Hall Programs
Each UW-Stevens Point residence hall quads will be presenting unique programming. This is in students’ residence halls so make sure to check out your front hall desk for specific event locations.
Liquid Nitrogen Ice Cream
Come enjoy some ice cream made with liquid nitrogen, which cools things to -320.4 degrees F! This will go on while supplies last and starts at 10 A.M. outside the first-floor entrance to CBB (southwest side), weather permitting. You won’t want to miss this!
Family Day + Homecoming – Top Dawg Homecoming Hotspot
Join the UWSP Alumni Association at the Homecoming Hotspot party for a chance to win scholarships and prizes. A special Native American Invocation and Drum will take place prior to the event. Other activities include Section 715 Axe Throwing, musician Brad Emanual, UWSP’s STEM Shuttle, several local food trucks including Stevie’s (UWSP’s new food truck), the UWSP Pepe Band, and more!
