What’s the next step?
After you’ve met with your academic advisor for your virtual appointment via zoom, you will be required to participate in an in-person Orientation on the UWSP campus!
New Student Orientation is for incoming first-year students to help them in transitioning to campus. During Orientation, students will get their student ID, hear from campus resources, and connect with other committed students.
Orientation is a great opportunity for students to familiarize themselves with UWSP’s campus. You’ll be able to explore the class buildings and prepare yourself for the first day of classes. You’ll meet other incoming students who are just as nervous about coming to college as you are. You’ll even get a chance to meet your roommate for the upcoming semester!
There’s no place quite like Stevens Point, because it’s more than a place to learn. It is a place to live, and a community to call home!
Orientation sessions occur every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday in June. These are full-day sessions with a meal provided by our dining center. Registration opens in mid-March so follow this link to stay updated with upcoming Orientation sessions!
