An important consideration to make as you prepare to come to UWSP is whether your vehicle should come with you. Read on for what you should know about parking your car at UWSP. 

2024-2025 parking permits will be available to purchase for students enrolled in classes. They are sold on a first come first serve basis. Permits will be available on a progressive schedule as follows: 

  • On July 16 at 8:00 a.m., permits open for Graduate students, Seniors and Juniors (students with 60+ earned UWSP credits). 
  • On July 18 at 8:00 a.m., permits open for Sophomores (students with 30+ earned UWSP credits) and Returning Freshmen. 
  • On July 22 at 8:00 a.m., permits open for Incoming Freshmen. 

Please know that New/Incoming Students need to wait two business days after course enrollment before a parking account is established.  

Parking permits cost $300 for residential lots (J, P, Q or W).  

Parking permits cost $250 for commuter lots (T or Y, no overnight parking).
