When I moved to UWSP, I was excited to learn that Stevens Point offers a variety transportation options.

If you are looking for transportation options, read on to discover those for UWSP students. Note that campus parking permits are covered here.

Parking without a permit can be done on campus. Metered parking lots are located throughout campus and cost $1 per hour. Payments can be made via the Passport parking app. Coins are accepted at some meters.

Street parking is $0.75 per hour.

For information on how to set up the Passport parking app, lots that accept coins and more about metered parking, please visit this link.

Additionally, the city bus system is included in segregated fees, which means that students can ride the bus for no additional fares by showing the driver their Point Card (Student ID). Click here to see routes and schedules.

Biking is also an excellent way to travel around campus and the city! We offer bike parking at nearly every building on campus.

If you need a place to do minor repairs, there is a repair and air pump station at the DUC. For more major repairs or tune ups, there are several bike shops in the area.

All you need to know about biking can be found here. A map of bike parking locations is included!

Lastly, it is worth mentioning that UWSP is a walkable campus. Academic buildings are near each other, with residence halls not a far walk away.

I have enjoyed using the above transport options in Stevens Point. Many of them have helped me save money while being more sustainable, too!
