Happy third week of classes, Pointers!

As you settle into a routine with your school schedule, you may be wondering about what more there is to do at UWSP. When you close your textbooks for the day, you will find many ways to get involved.

Entertainment

If you want to see live music, you are in luck! UWSP is proud to feature local musicians and will sometimes feature national recording artists.

Other live entertainment options include movie showings in the DUC theater and shows and leisure activities in the DUC. Examples of events offered are bingo nights, trivia sessions and open mic nights featuring students.

Fitness activities

With over 70 hours of free activity offered weekly for students, keeping active is easy and fun.

The Allen Fitness Center and Champions Hall Fitness Center are our two gym facilities on campus. Both facilities offer strength and cardio equipment, with Champions Hall Fitness Center serving as the primary workout facility for varsity student-athletes.

Both facilities are free with a student ID.

Students can also swim, rock climb and take group fitness classes. Class options include yoga, dance fusion, pilates, cycling and more.

Last but certainly not least, we have many club sports and intramural sports. I personally love trench ball (essentially dodgeball with a few more rules).
