Unsure of what that grade means on your transcript? We can help! A “W” indicates that you withdrew from the course after the end of the eighth day of classes. If you drop a course before then, the course does not appear on your record. If you withdrew from a class after this eight-day period, a “W” will appear on your transcript. “W’s” do not impact your overall GPA and choosing to withdraw to focus on other classes and activities can be a wise decision.
