Hey, Pointers! Winter is right around the corner. With the change in seasons coming, here’s a list of activities to do both indoors and outdoors in the Stevens Point area.
Looking for outdoor sports? Iverson Park is the place for you. With sledding, toboggans, and an outdoor ice rink, the fun is endless. There are three sled hills. One is designated only for snowboarding and another one is designated for kids six years old or younger.
Along with the sled hills, Iverson Park contains two 300-foot-long toboggan slides, a 2.5-mile ski trail, a one-mile-long snowshoe trail, and a lighted outdoor skating rink. If you happen to get too cold, feel free to make your way to the warming lodge! Click here to see more information about Iverson Park.
Looking for a beautiful outdoor hiking spot? Schmeeckle Reserve is the place for you! Schmeeckle contains five miles of peaceful trails to unwind and take in the beautiful scenery of Stevens Point. For more information on Schmeeckle Reserve, click here!
Staying warm is always a necessity in the winter. So, here are some fun indoor activities!

Want more fun? Putt-n-Play is an indoor mini-golf course located on 2nd Street. It contains a full north-woods themed course. After your round of mini-golf, head to their arcade or check out their food menu for something to eat. For more information on Putt-n-Play, click here!
