Hey Pointers! Spring is right around the corner and you know what that means – sports! Spring sports are beginning and we have the overview of what’s going on around campus. All games and events are free with your student ID upon arrival!
UWSP spring sports include baseball, softball, golf, tennis, and track & field. Below will be a list covering the first home game or first event of the season if there is not a home game for each of these sports.
Baseball
- April 9 vs. UW-Eau Claire at 12:00 pm and 3:00 pm
- Zimmermann Field
Softball
- March 30 vs. Loras College at 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm
- McCarty Memorial Field
Men’s Tennis
- April 8 vs. UW-La Crosse at 3:00 pm
- Stevens Point University Courts
Women’s Tennis
- April 27 – WIAC Final Four Tournament vs. Edgewood College at 11:00 am
- Stevens Point University Courts
Outdoor Track & Field (no home event)
- March 29 – St. Norbert College Opener
- Donald J. Schneider Stadium – De Pere, Wis.
Men’s Golf (no home event)
- March 22 – Great Lakes Intercollegiate
- Country Club of Terre Haute – Terre Haute, Ind.
Women’s Golf (no home event)
- April 5 – UWL Spring Invitational
- Golf Club at Cedar Creek – La Crosse, Wis.
Women’s Lacrosse
- March 15 vs. Marian University at 6 p.m.
- UWSP Turf Facility
