Entertainment
The Green Circle Trail is a tourist favorite as it is a 27-mile biking and hiking trail. Located in the Schmeeckle Reserve, it is the perfect spot to spend a peaceful day with nature, especially with warm weather right around the corner.
A staple in Stevens Point is definitely the Stevens Point Brewery. I highly encourage going on the tour around the brewery to see how they operate. Not only is it educational, but it’s a great chance to get closer and understand the roots of this town!
Calling all golfers! SentryWorld is an award-winning championship golf course. It is also known as a premier destination golf course, and hosted the 2023 U.S. Senior Open Championship. Grab some friends and play a round of golf at SentryWorld!
Looking to just enjoy the day and walk around? Downtown Stevens Point is absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend going on a mural walk and taking in all the beautiful art while you are downtown. Don’t forget to take pictures!
Food
PJ’s – located in SentryWorld – is a must try restaurant while in Stevens Point. With a menu attributed to the best flavors in Wisconsin, you are sure to enjoy a satisfactory meal at PJ’s.
Located off of Main Street, I recommend Hilltop Pub & Grill for a nice lunch or dinner. With a bar room to watch the game, or a beautiful outdoor patio that is dog friendly, Hilltop is a great experience to go out to eat.
The age old question, Belts’ or Carl D’s? I personally am going to stay out of this one and not give an opinion. If you didn’t know, this town is split in two with our beloved ice cream enjoyers. Lets just say there is a lot of passion behind who you decide to choose as your favorite. Go give them both a try and let us know who wins your heart!
