Going into college, it may be difficult to decide what major you want to declare. You’re not alone, as many students go through this. It is ok to be undecided! You can still take classes at UWSP that will count toward your general education. There are things you can do to help you lead in the direction of the major that best fits you. 

  1. Get Involved on Campus 

Outside of going to classes, there are other ways to explore your interests. This would be getting involved on campus. CASE (Campus Activities and Student Engagement) has information about campus events, organizations, and ways to get involved in the community. Going to these events will help you find out what you are passionate about.  

  1. Attend a Career Fair 

Career fairs are held frequently at UWSP and are great for exploring your career options. You can look at what is out in the world and find places that suit you. If you come across something that interests you, don’t hesitate to ask for more information. 

  1. Meet with your advisor or a career planner 

Your academic advisor is here to help you during your journey at UWSP. You can either set up an appointment with your advisor or visit them during office hours. They are knowledgeable and can show you all the degrees offered on campus. Soon you will come to find all the possibilities out there for you!
