- Go for a walk in Schmeeckle Reserve
Schmeeckle Reserve is a 280-acre conservancy area on UWSP’s campus. Open to the public, Schmeeckle offers a plethora of trails, boardwalks, a 24-acre lake, and a large diversity of habitats. If you’re looking for something to do on a beautiful summer afternoon, consider checking out Schmeeckle Reserve!
- Visit Iverson Park
Being one of Stevens Point’s oldest and largest parks, Iverson Park has many things to offer. From a playground to picnic areas, to a baseball diamond to a beach, Iverson has got you covered on outdoor summer fun!
- Take a stroll around campus
During the summer, take advantage of the beautiful weather in Stevens Point and find a place to relax on campus. UWSP’s campus has a lot to offer, and during the summer, you can find many quiet places to hangout outside. Grab a hammock, grab a book, grab some friends, and grab some games to play!
- Grab a snack from Zest
Zest Bakery and Coffeehouse is conveniently located right on Isadore street! If you are ever craving some coffee or a sweet treat, or if you simply want to catch up with a friend, take a trip on over to Zest!
- Music in the Park
Presented by Create Portage County, Levitt AMP Stevens Point at the Pfiffner Park Bandshell is offering their ninth series of FREE summer music! Every Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. make your way on over and enjoy a night full of beautiful music! Shows will be kicking off on June 5th!
