Get Involved, Stay Connected

No Comments on Get Involved, Stay Connected

College is about more than classes! It’s about discovering who you are, building friendships and having fun. Our Campus Activities and Student Engagement (CASE) office helps make all of that possible.

CASE connects students to experiences and leadership opportunities that build confidence, community and career skills.

Here’s how you can get involved from day one:

Student Employment Opportunities
Over 2,000 students work on or off campus through our programs. On-campus jobs are flexible, often within walking distance, and help students stay engaged and successful academically. Research shows students who work up to 20 hours a week tend to do as well, or better than those who don’t.

180+ Student Organizations
We offer academic and professional clubs, cultural, spiritual, recreational and Greek life. There’s truly something for everyone. Can’t find the right club? Students can start their own!

Entertainment & Events
CASE hosts concerts, comedians, movie nights, craft nights and more! These activities are student-run events that happen every week. We hope you can join in on the fun.

Club Sports & Recreation
Students can join competitive and recreational sports clubs, building teamwork and friendships outside of class.

SPIN (Stevens Point Involvement Network)
Students can explore all clubs and events on our SPIN platform. It’s the go-to hub for getting involved and staying in the loop.

Pointers Week
This exciting kickoff to campus life happens right after move-in! Students will:

  • Connect with peers, faculty, and staff
  • Attend Convocation and the traditional Cupola Walk
  • Explore involvement opportunities
  • Start building their college support network

Make sure you don’t just attend UWSP but experience it!
