Here at UWSP, we are lucky to have enriching and fun jobs for students all over campus. Having on-campus jobs is a convenient way to work while in school. Not only is the location ideal for students, but the scheduling is flexible and works great for those with busy schedules or heavy class loads. UWSP offers both Federal Work–Study (FWS) and regular non-FWS jobs. These jobs help us take learning outside of the classroom and do even more with the skills we are learning every day!  

If you are interested in finding an on-campus job, take a look at CASEConnect! CASEConnect is a free website that provides access to job postings within the Stevens Point community, as well as right here on the UWSP campus! From CASEConnect you will be directed to the “Workday” website, which will show you all the available jobs here on campus! 

Here are some great examples of jobs we have on campus:  

  • Schmeeckle Trails and Facility Crew: 

This job is a great way to get outside and spend some time in the nature reserve right here on campus! This position is to be a part of a team that regulates and keeps Scheemckle clean and safe!  

  • Peer Tutors:  

Peer tutoring is a great way to use skills you are actively studying in school. This job allows you to work with students from all over campus in your own field of study, as those who may not major in that field but could need help! Not only does it give you more practice, but it also allows you to help other students out! 

  • Brewhaus Barista  

Hop in line to work at one of our campuses’ cutest little spots! This little coffee shop in the basement of the DUC is a hangout for students all over campus and is a great time to make some fun drinks and talk to all types of students! 

  • Laboratory Assistants  

UWSP is known for its sciences, and our campus jobs represent that! If you are interested in sciences, check out the “Workday” website and see all the labs looking for assistants and helpers to do all sorts of tasks in the labs to further the idea of hands-on learning.  

Furthermore, you are able to find off-campus jobs through the CASEConnect website. This will allow students to work in diverse environments and gain all types of new experiences in Stevens Point and surrounding communities! 

UWSP also offers Federal Work Study and non-Federal Work Study positions on campus. Federal Work Study jobs are for those with extra financial needs as determined through the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. They allow students to work all kinds of different jobs that will help them further their skills and careers, all while earning money and supporting their financial needs! 

Finally, we have the option of internships! Multiple majors around campus have internship requirements. Luckily, there are multiple internships on campus that will help the students work and earn money as well as complete their internship credits for their desired major! These jobs allow student to work directly on skills that will aid them in their career following graduation!
