The Cupboard is a resource at UWSP with students as its focus. Whether you need to use The Cupboard for a year, a couple of months, or a few weeks, the resource is always there! College is stressful enough without having to focus on affording food, so the people at The Cupboard arranged a free food pantry for students. You can stop in the lower level of the Dreyfus University Center in room 061 Monday – Friday 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., or if you aren’t able to or are uncomfortable with stopping in, you can fill out an online form to pick up a box at the CASE desk.
If you end up not needing to use the services at The Cupboard, there are always ways that you can contribute to its mission! There are volunteer opportunities where you can help your fellow students. You can always offer a monetary donation so that the organization can purchase exactly what it needs to best serve our community, or you can directly donate food items. Any way that you can help is greatly appreciated.
The mission of The Cupboard is to support UWSP students so that academic success is still tangible for anyone who is struggling. They believe that no student should be more focused on how they will get their next meal than on their academics.
