Hello Dawgs! Let’s talk about scholarships!
Scholarship application has been made much easier with the scholarship portal put into place last school year! This is an online space where we have access to all scholarships offered by UWSP!
If you are an admitted student for fall 2026, this portal is now open to you. If you are a currently enrolled or a transfer student, this portal will open on October 31, and the priority deadline is December 1.
By logging into this website and filling out the singular application and answering all of the questions, you are opening yourself up to multiple opportunities to get some financial help!
Here are some scholarship options for first year students coming to UWSP for fall 2026!
With a 3.25+ GPA, you’ll be automatically eligible for our $1,000 nonrenewable Invest in Your Purpose Scholarship contingent upon acceptance to Stevens Point campus for fall 2026 for first-year, domestic students on a first-come, first-served basis. To be guaranteed consideration, submit your application and required materials by Nov. 2, 2025.
There are also some options for out-of-state students!
Our Destination Wisconsin Scholarship is guaranteed* to any new undergraduate (first-year, transfer or international) students with a 2.75+ GPA or 19+ ACT/980+ SAT or 75% class rank or greater at the time of application to the University who is not a resident of Wisconsin or Minnesota. Students will automatically be awarded this scholarship.
- Midwest Student Exchange Program Students**: $1,000/year, renewable for 4 years
- **Indiana, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, and Ohio residents
- All Return to Wisconsin students will receive a $1,000/year, renewable for 4 years
- All other Out-of-State Students: $4,000/year, renewable for 4 years
