Hello Pointers!
Crazy to believe it’s already time to register for your spring semester classes! But here we are, and here is what you will need to know!
Before Registering:
Meet with your advisor!
Once you meet with your advisor, they will clear your academic holds on AccesSPoint. If you have not already met with your advisor or are not sure how to get in touch with them, log in to your accesSPoint and click “Profile” then “Advisor”.
Make sure to do any other tasks that AccesSPoint prompts you to do as well!
When to Register:
You will be assigned a registration date and time. If you are hoping to get into a class known to be full, stay on top of your date and time to have the best opportunity to get into the classes you need to take!
To find your registration time, log in to AccesSPoint and click “My Classes,” then click “Registration Dates.” From there, you will need to select the term that you would like to register for.
How to Register:
Once you have met with your advisor and confirmed your registration time, complete the following steps.
- Take the schedule you built with your advisor and place it in your “shopping cart” on Schedule Builder.
- Then ask Schedule Builder to validate your course load. (This will make sure nothing overlaps and you are at the correct number of credits.)
- On your registration date, pull up this page and register for your courses! (You will do this by pressing the “register” button!)
- Double-check that all of your classes have gone through, once you are done with step three.
