Spring semester is here! There is no better time to visit the UW-Stevens Point campus. Spring semester offers many different visit experiences for prospective students to take part in. There are three main visit experiences students can look forward to Admitted Student Day, ViewPoint Day, and Daily Visits. For students unable to travel to Stevens Point, there are also two online options, LiveSP and VisiTour, our virtual tour experience. Learn more about the different ways to connect with UWSP below.
Admitted Student Day
Admitted Student Day is a day where we welcome future Pointers to campus for a day full of fun activities that will help you visualize your future at UWSP. This is a great opportunity if you are still deciding or if you are already planning on attending UWSP. You will experience a collegiate class, hear current student testimonials, and receive priority sign-up for Orientation, among other things. Campus and residence hall tours will also be available. Parents and guests are welcome to attend.
Dates for this semester are February 10, 17, 19, and March 1.
ViewPoint Day
ViewPoint Days are comprehensive, open-house style visits. These days include a major exploration fair and a student organization fair, an admissions presentation, academic breakout sessions that are deep dives into two different majors of your choice, and optional tours of campus and the Stevens Point community.
Dates for this semester are April 6 and 27.
Daily Visits
Daily visits are great for students who are considering attending the UWSP campus. Learn about the city of Stevens Point, campus life, student resources, the application process, the next steps, and your return on investment.
LiveSP
LiveSPs are a virtual visit option where students can meet with an admissions counselor or UWSP faculty member to discuss a variety of topics. UWSP at a Glance is a general admissions presentation where students can learn more about UWSP and hear from current Pointers. There are some LiveSPs that have a specialized topic. Topics for this semester include the Honors Program, Transferring, Advising and Course Registration, Completing Financial Aid, Finding a Roommate and much more.
VisiTour
VisiTour is UWSP’s new virtual tour experience. Students can embark on a self-guided tour of the UWSP campus and the Stevens Point community at stevenspoint.oncampustour.com. See UWSP through pictures and videos and hear about specific stops from current UWSP students.
UWSP has been voted #1 for the best campus tour in Wisconsin. Since 2021, 13,000 people have visited UWSP and 94% of visitors agree that their visit experience was positive.
