The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point has many opportunities for students to get involved on campus. One resource that students can use to find organizations and events is SPIN.

SPIN is a great site for:

  • Students to look for ways to get involved in over 200 student organizations.
  • Student organization leaders to manage their rosters, paperwork, elections, etc.
  • Student organizations to reach out to others and share what is going on with their group.
  • Students to track their involvement throughout their UWSP career!

I always use SPIN to see what is happening on campus. I have attended many bingo nights and movies that have been put on by different organizations.

If you want to join an organization, SPIN has many options.

Some organizations include the National Alliance on Mental Illness – On Campus UWSP, Hmong and S.E. Asian American Club, International Club, Aspiring Educators, and more!

Getting involved is a great way to create memories during your college years. It is a great way to try something new, make friends, and find things you have in common with others. The college experience is what you make out of it, so don’t hesitate to try something new.
