Join UW-Stevens Point in celebrating Black History Month! This February, there is a roster of events taking place all over campus to educate students, staff, and community members.  

Diversity and College Access is proud to present these upcoming programs that commemorate Black history and culture. 

  • All Month—Black History Month Drink: Melanin Majesty (Cinnamon Mocha) at the Basement Brewhaus 
  • February 14th—Hair Love Panel in the DUC Alumni Room, 5:30-7 p.m. 
  • February 15th—Black History 101 with Kenny at 5-6 p.m. 
  • February 15th—Black History Discourse at Baldwin Hall, 6-7 p.m. 
  • February 19th-23rd—Black Student Union Spirit Week:
    • Meme Monday 
    • Black out Tuesday 
    • Wacky Wednesday 
    • 2000’s Throwback Thursday 
    • Pajama Friday 
  • February 21st—Keynote Speaker: Alvin Hall in the DUC Laird Room, 4-6:30 p.m. 
    • Pre-registration is required. To register, reserve a spot here. 
  • February 24th—BSU Ebony Ball in the DUC Laird Room, 6-10 p.m.

Cosponsors of these events are the Multicultural Resource Center, Queer Resource Center, Campus Activities and Student Engagement, Black Student Union, Sentry School of Business & Economics, Housing & Residence Life, and Leaders Igniting Transformation (LIT).
