Homecoming Week is always a great time to show your school spirit and represent what it means to be a Pointer! There will be fun festivities throughout the week and into the weekend, including Family Day! Events start on Monday, September 30 and run through Sunday, October 6. We are celebrating UWSP’s 130-year anniversary, which means Stephanie Pointer will make a return to campus! Don’t miss out on a week full of fun social events and exciting activities!

Weekday Activities
Monday, September 30 (Starting at 10 a.m.) Residence Hall Competition Voting, Orange Shirt Day, Movie and Ice Cream Social
- Orange Shirt Day recognizes the survivors and victims of the residential school systems in the U.S. and Canada. Wear orange to show your support for #everychildmatters!
- Disney’s Hercules will be playing in the DUC theater and concourse at 7 p.m. This event is sponsored by CASE and University Dining
Tuesday, October 1 (Starting at 6 p.m.) Homecoming Olympics, Canoe Battleship, Pointers After Dark Bingo
- Ran by the Arts Management Association, the Homecoming Olympics are a “Minute to Win it” style activities. It will be held in the DUC alumni room.
- Bingo will be held in the DUC Laird Room after dark!
Wednesday, October 2 (Starting at 5 p.m.) Student Supper with Point Catholic, Men’s Soccer
- Point Catholic is providing a free home-cooked meal open to all students. It will take place at the Holy Spirit Parish.
- Men’s Soccer takes on Beloit College at 7 p.m. at Kotal Field. We would love to see you out there in support of your Pointers! Free admission for students.
Thursday, October 3 (Starting at 5 p.m.)
CASE Disney Trivia and Student Supper with Point Catholic
- Are you a Disney fan? Come prove it at Disney Trivia in the DUC Encore room at 8 p.m. Bring your friends!
Friday, October 4 (All Day)
UWSP Alumni Board Meeting and Pointer Impact Award Lunch, Bed Races, UWSP Athletic Hall of Fame
- Come out to the Coleman track for Homecoming bed races sponsored by the Inter Greek Council!
- We will be honoring Pointer athletic greats in the Laird Room on the same day.
Saturday, October 5 (All Day)
Family Day Activities!
Bring your family out for family day on Saturday, October 5! The whole day will be full of events and activities for your family to enjoy. Homecoming Hotspot
- Hosted at Goerke Park, there will be inflatable games, food trucks, axe throwing, music, reunion tents, STEM Shuttle, and more taking place from 10:30 a.m. to gametime at 1 p.m.
- Stephanie Pointer will be in attendance!
UWSP Football versus UW Stout
- Starting at 1 p.m. at Community Stadium at Goerke Park
- The Spud Bowl and Homecoming are now mashed together into one!
- Free baked potatoes and McCain French fries will be served for free at the game.
