Hey Future Pointers!

If you are committed to attending UW-Stevens Point this fall, you may be wondering what comes next. One big step that is required of every incoming first-year student is attending an in-person orientation session.

Orientation is a time for you to come to campus and get familiarized with your future home. You will hear from campus resources, get to know other incoming students, learn more about campus clubs/involvement and pick up your Student ID.

This day is all about helping you transition. You will also be able to explore class buildings, go on a campus tour (optional) and ask questions to current students about their lives at UWSP.

As a current student, I recommend that you ask plenty of questions at orientation! There is a lot to know, and no question is a bad one.

Those working at orientation are there to support you and help ease your transition into college. They want to make sure your questions are answered and that you feel more prepared to attend UWSP in the fall.

Orientation is a great time to get to know some of your classmates, too!

If you have questions about registration and/or orientation in general, contact the Office of Admissions and Recruitment at 715-346-2441or admiss@uwsp.edu

We cannot wait to welcome you to campus! As always, it’s a great day to be a Pointer!
