Helmers, Brandin L

Brandin Helmers is a 26-year-old non-traditional student, majoring in a communications with an emphasis in public relations at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. He interns as an assistant event coordinator and blogger for University Relations and Communications, where he helps organize public events important to UW-Stevens Point’s missions, brand and image, such as commencement and convocation. He blogs about the Pointer Pride he finds on campus. Through his two internships, Brandin leads and participates in many university committees, and demonstrates strong service skills and leadership qualities. He displays effective communication with many departments and a positive attitude. His Pointer Pride is prominent and will continue well beyond his May 2015 graduation.
