UW-Stevens Point School of Education Professor Patty Caro’s Education 378 (Parent, Home and Agency Involvement in Educating Children and Youth with Disabilities) students presented a poster conference to professionals in child care, preschool programs, Head Start, and family child care providers on Saturday, Oct. 1 in the CPS Café. Topics included language development, bullying, assistive technology, facilitating relationships between teachers and parents, importance of play, and behavioral intervention. In addition, UWSP students learned from their peers. This endeavor was developed in cooperation with the Waushara Health and Human Services Department.
