Nearly 100 UW-Stevens Point alumni were in attendance at the 10th Annual CESA 5 School-Based Speech-Language Pathology Institute March 5-6 at the Kalahari Resort in Wisconsin Dells.
The state-wide conference provides speech-language pathologists (SLPs) hands-on, ready-to-replicate strategies and techniques to benefit the students they serve with speech-language disabilities. The conference also provides an opportunity for SLPs to reconnect with the greater community of school-based SLPs and to facilitate a cross-pollination of service delivery ideas.
UWSP’s School of Communicative Disorders, which is celebrating its 50th Reunion on May 4-5, prides itself on high graduation data including praxis pass rates, employment levels and retention rates for speech-language pathology and audiology.
