Known around the world as the birthplace of Wellness, UW-Stevens Point was in full force at the 28th Annual Worksite Wellness Conference, presented by Wellness Council of Wisconsin at the Monona Terrace in Madison on Oct. 30, 2018. [View Photos]

Spanning nearly 20 years, this group of alumni, current students and faculty members included award winners, Wellness Council of Wisconsin board members such as alumna Abigail Nadler ’00 and Professor Sallie Scovill, and session speakers including:

  • “Champion Mental Health with Voice. Value. Vigilance.” by Mettie Spiess ’10, CWP, International Mental Health Speaker, founder of A World Without Suicide
  • “The Science and Art of Corporate Compassion” by Aaron Hunnel ’13, CWP, CIC, owner of High Thrive Wellbeing

With undergraduates programs in health promotion and wellness and health and wellness management, UW-Stevens Point is committed to developing professionals who study, promote and model lifelong wellness for individuals, families and communities. The university also offers graduate programs in Community and Organizational Leadership, Sustainable and Resilient Food Systems, and Health and Wellness Management that build a better community.
