On behalf of the faculty and staff of the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point Sentry School of Business and Economics, I welcome you to our 2024 Spring Awards Dinner. I am very excited to get together once again to celebrate and honor our outstanding students and faculty.

Thank you to Associated Bank for its generous support of tonight’s festivities. Through your generosity we can celebrate in the presence of so many family members and friends. Thank you as well to our generous donors who make tonight’s awards possible. From your generosity we have been able to give away $90,000 to students tonight alone! Your gifts truly impact student lives.

We are especially pleased to welcome members of the Business Advisory Council (BAC) and our Corporate Partners. The BAC guarantees the relevance of our programs by providing input from our business and community stakeholders while our Corporate Partners help our students connect with local businesses. We appreciate your help in all our efforts.

Our strong business and community partnerships help Sentry School meet its mission of developing career-ready graduates through applied learning. The Anderson Classroom to Career Center is the core of that mission, with the Mundt Internship and Career Readiness, Smiley Professional Events, and Corporate Partners programs all focused on getting students out of the classroom and into the business world.

At the graduate level the MBA program is committed to the same goal, transforming both young and seasoned professionals. Through these programs we continue to innovate, providing students with new opportunities to develop and showcase their skills.

Finally, I would also like to thank UW-Stevens Point administration for their support, and our wonderful faculty and staff for their creativity, hard work and dedication to our students. Together we are turning UW-Stevens Point and Sentry School into a standout destination for business education.
