UWSP designers impress state association

Fourth-year UW-Stevens Point interior architecture student Meg Buchmann (second from left) received a $1,000 scholarship award from the Wisconsin Chapter of American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) on Thursday, Sept. 27. Also pictured are IA alumni Amanda Krause ’11 (far left) and Nicole Greuel ’11 (center).

In addition, Veta Traxler ’09 was awarded the ASID Wisconsin Chapter Top 5 Under 5 Award for serving as co-chair for the Emerging Professionals Committee where she developed the “ASID Wisconsin Graduation Packet” to promote recent graduates to become involved in ASID.

Samantha Longshore ’10 also received a Certificate of Appreciation for her contributions to the WI Chapter.
