HPW Student Internship Experience – Wesley Titus Spring 17′
Interning at the Kettle Moraine YMCA was an amazing experience to learn from people working with many different wellness journeys. I was able to work at West Bend Mutual insurance, Alloy
training at the Y, group training, live strong, Diabetes Prevention training, and was able to lead my own Healthy living appointments. I assisted and made many corporate fitness challenges. Some of them at West Bend Mutual insurance called Warrior Dash and World Travelers. I helped facilitate Functional Movement screens and helped with recommendation for exercises based off the results. This internship was convenient on its versatility. I was introduced to so many different professionals and learned even more subjects. I feel prepared for many different circumstances because of the training that was made available for me.
