Kely Rodriguez, an accounting and business administration student at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, was presented the Accounting Student Award at the Wisconsin Institute of CPAs (WICPA) Membership Recognition Banquet and Annual Business Meeting on May 10.

Kely V. Rodriguez, accounting student at UW-Stevens Point and member of UWSP Accounting Club, received the Accounting Student Award at the WICPA Membership Recognition Banquet and Annual Business Meeting on May 10. The award is one of 10 WICPA Excellence Awards for 2018. The award recognizes a college accounting student for their commitment to success in the accounting field. Rodriguez has demonstrated leadership skills, involvement in an accounting or business club and contributions to the community.

The award is one of 10 WICPA Excellence Awards for 2018 and recognizes a college accounting student for his or her commitment to success in the accounting field. Rodriguez has demonstrated leadership skills, involvement in an accounting or business club and contributions to the community. Specifically, the native of Honduras started the UW-Stevens Point Accounting Club, organized an accounting career fair and volunteered with the CAP Services Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program.
