Kevin Neuman, Ph.D., was appointed as the associate dean of the College of Professional Studies and department head of the UW-Stevens Point School of Business and Economics, announced CPS Dean Marty Loy.
As associate dean and head, Neuman will lead the faculty, staff and students in the School of Business and Economics (SBE) with the mission to prepare graduates for success in positions of leadership and responsibility.
Neuman holds a Ph.D. in Economics with a specialty in Labor Economics, from the University of Notre Dame and a B.A. in Economics and Spanish from UW-Eau Claire.
Neuman, who replaces Gary Mullins as head, has taught at UW-Stevens Point since 2005. His research focus is labor economics, emphasizing the retirement decision and the implications of an aging society.
The UW-Stevens Point School of Business and Economics is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). Graduates will complete degrees from a program ranked among the top 20 percent in the nation and top 5 percent in the world.
